System Analyst and Web Developer

Objective

Provide system level-support of multi user of operating system (hardware and software) and The Web Developer will be responsible for our own Bengali web portal with phonetics, creation and design of clients’ websites according to specification.

Responsible for

1. Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems.
2. Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade operating systems.
3. Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade hardware and software interfaces with the operating system. Analyze and evaluate present or proposed business procedures or problems to define data processing needs.
4. Prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes.
5. Research and recommend hardware and software development, purchase, and use.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems, including user access and component configuration.
7. Select among authorized procedures and seek assistance when guidelines are inadequate, significant deviations are proposed, or when unanticipated problems arise.
8. Record and maintain hardware and software inventories, site and/or server licensing, and user access and security.
9. Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and peripherals to include; network cards, printers, modems, mice and add-in boards.
10. Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as networking to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
11. Write and maintain system documentation.
12. Conduct technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current system.
13. Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
14. Document system problems and resolutions for future reference.
15. Successful candidate will have to maintain our content management, dynamic website in live mode every day.
16. Should responsible for maintain server and maintain firewall, security and deploying various databases in to the web site.
17. Responsible for both of our online website and print management website with day to day development.
18. To design and develop the corporate website ensuring strong functionality and optimisation
19. To design and develop relational database systems and their web interfaces.
20. Responsible for integrating the SQL Server database with the company website.
21. Responsible for the design of company web pages, including graphics, animation and functionality.
22. To develop web page infrastructure and application related to pages with more advanced graphics and features.
23. To assist the Company Director in the planning of overall company strategy regarding web development and search engine optimisation.
24. To monitor web server and site technical performance.
25. Reporting to senior ICT MANAGE on a regular basis, detailing current web usage and forthcoming developments in bangle language and phonetics.  
26. Other duties as assigned.
27. Attending meetings with clients including ethnic minor community.

Qualification

Requirement

1. Practical experience in apache server, Tomcat and glass fish is a key criterion.
2. Proven management of enterprise level websites.
3. Experience of leading a web development team.
4. Strong knowledge of .NET based technologies
5. In depth knowledge of Web Development technologies - to include HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
6. Strong database knowledge specifically SQL Server or MySQL.
7. Excellent communication skill in English and Bangla.

Language Skills

Excellent oral & written communication skills in English
In addition the incumbent must have a good knowledge on Hindi/Urdu, Bengali and Arabic language as our company extensively working with these communities beside the mainstream market

£22,400 (gross) Plus Allowances £3700/- Per Annum
